Terms of Service

The terms covering use of the site, the 5-Keys PDF, the newsletter, and the TD5 Mentorship Program.

01

Acceptance.

By using this website — reading it, signing up for the email list, writing through the contact form, or enrolling in the TD5 Mentorship program — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

02

Who can use this.

The site is intended for adults — parents, coaches, organizers, players over 16. By using the site you confirm you are at least 16 years old, or that a parent or guardian has accepted these terms on your behalf.

The mentorship program is sold to adults. Where the player is under 18, the parent or guardian is the contracting party and is responsible for the player's participation.

03

What we provide.

In return for your interest, attention, and (in some cases) your payment, we provide:

  • This website — reading material on the TD5 Method and the work of Thomas Dooley.
  • The 5-Keys PDF — a free download in exchange for your email address. Eight pages.
  • The newsletter — occasional notes from Thomas, less than weekly, unsubscribable in one click.
  • The book — sold through Amazon and other retailers under their own terms; this site links to it but does not fulfil it.
  • The TD5 Mentorship Program — described in §05.
  • Speaking engagements — booked via a separate written agreement, not these terms.
04

Intellectual property.

All content on this site — text, photography, graphics, video, the design, the TD5 Method, the four-pillars framework, the five-keys framework, the trademark "TD5", and the book The Truth About Success in Soccer No One Teaches — is © 2026 Thomas D. Dooley and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may: read, save for offline reading, quote up to 300 words with attribution and a link to the source page, share links to public pages.

You may not: republish or repackage substantial portions; resell; create derivative works; translate without permission; train machine-learning models on the content; or use the marks "TD5", "TD5 Method", or the book title as your own branding.

Permissions beyond personal use are available — write to [email protected]. We tend to say yes.

05

The TD5 Mentorship Program.

The program is an online, instructor-led education program. By enrolling, you agree to these specific additional terms:

Item
What it is
Notes
Duration
One year of access from enrolment
Renewable; not auto-renewing
Content
Video lessons, weekly group call, working notebook, private Q&A
Content may evolve during your term
Live calls
Weekly, by Thomas, when not in an official window
National-team duties take priority; missed calls are made up
Recordings
All calls recorded and posted within 24 hours
Available to enrolled members only
Outcomes
Not guaranteed
This is education, not a placement service

The program is not a substitute for a club coach, an academy, a sports psychologist, or a doctor. We do not place players with clubs, conduct trials, or write recommendation letters; we teach a method.

06

Payment, refunds, deposits.

Mentorship is sold at the price shown on the page at the time of enrolment. Launch pricing is a one-time-per-customer entry price; rolling tiered pricing is described on the mentorship section of the home page.

  • Deposit reservations. A 10% deposit (currently $50 on the $495 launch tier) reserves your spot until the platform opens. If the launch slips past September 2026, the deposit is fully refundable. Otherwise it is non-refundable but is credited against your full enrolment.
  • 14-day money-back guarantee. Within 14 days of paying the full enrolment, you may request a full refund for any reason. Just email the address below.
  • After 14 days. No refunds, but the program remains available for the rest of your term.
  • Taxes. Where required, VAT or sales tax is added at checkout and itemised on the invoice.
  • Statutory rights. EU consumers' 14-day right of withdrawal applies. By starting any digital content within that window you may waive the withdrawal right for that content; the live calls and community access are unaffected.
07

Code of conduct.

The program runs because the room is a useful room. To keep it that way, members agree to:

  1. Respect other members, their players, and Thomas — on calls and in writing.
  2. Not share program materials, recordings, or call links outside the membership.
  3. Not solicit other members for unrelated services.
  4. Not publish other members' identities, video stills, or comments without their permission.
  5. Not use the program to evaluate anyone for medical, psychological, or safeguarding concerns — those go to qualified professionals.

We reserve the right to remove a member from the program without refund for a serious or repeated breach of this section. We try very hard not to need to use that right.

08

Your content.

When you submit match clips, notebooks, photos, questions, or anything else to the program, you keep your copyright. You grant us a limited, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use the content within the program for the purpose of teaching you and the cohort. We will not use your content externally — including in marketing — without separate, specific written permission from you.

09

Disclaimer of warranty.

The site and the program are provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result — college placement, professional contract, scholarship, the avoidance of failure or disappointment — will follow from participation.

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you or your player needs any of those, please seek a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

10

Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to this site or the program — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid us nothing, our liability is limited to one hundred euros.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11

Indemnification.

You agree to indemnify us against reasonable, documented third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the site or program, or any content you submit that infringes the rights of a third party.

12

Termination.

You can stop using the site at any time. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, click the link in any email. To leave the mentorship program, write to us; refunds are governed by §06.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or program in the event of a material breach of these terms, or where required by law, with reasonable notice where practical.

13

Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The place of jurisdiction for disputes with merchants is the registered seat of the operator (see Impressum).

For consumers domiciled in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. EU online dispute resolution is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; see the Impressum for our position on dispute-resolution boards.

14

Changes.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the version number and effective date at the top, and post a one-line note in the change log below. Material changes affecting paying members are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
